Electrostatics Mentor Sought

We are posting the following on behalf of  Hugo Richardson. If you are able to help him in any way please get in touch either via the Commission or through the 1851 alumni site.

Hi, I’m Hugo from The Tyre Collective. We are on the lookout for a mentor with prior experience in electrostatics (cathode ray tubes, x-ray machines or electrostatic precipitators) to run ideas by and learn a bit more about the engineering considerations when dealing with high voltage electronics. It is a niche set of skills that we are having trouble finding through our university and industry links! The Tyre Collective is a clean-tech company spearheading the capture and monitoring of tyre wear, accelerating the shift towards zero-emission mobility. We are currently developing our first on-vehicle prototype to capture tyre wear at source, preventing these harmful particles from entering our ecosystem. Together, let’s save our air from tyre wear!
